IPA Shelter House

Church History

Shelter House had its humble beginnings in November 2008. When the situations were hostile and tough , God in His mercy caused His shoot to sprout out of Bannerghatta road, South Bangalore. The First evening service had around seven in attendance. Now by the grace of God Shelter House is moving from strength to strength. With around 5 services targetting the different liguistic and people groups, Shelter House is doing its role in the great commission. The Church is led by Pastor Ashley Benjamin and his wife Sheba. They founded the church responding to the clear call of God. Their experience in the Information Technology sector gives them a better perspective of the problems and issues faced by the people working in the corporate environment.

Shelter House is affiliated to the Indian Pentecostal Assemblies based out of Coimbatore founded by the late Rev Dr Job Gnanaprakasam presently led by Rev Dr David Prakasam. Dedicated on November 8th 2008 by Rev David Prakasam, the church is committed in fulfilling the great mandate given by the Lord Jesus Christ. The Sunday Services are filled with the presence of God and the environment is richly anointed that one coming to the services will have faith at its peak and the powerful ministry of Gods word is confirmed by signs and wonders and the demonstration of the power of God.
